You can probably remember a time when you desperately needed a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, or someone to share in some other significant moment. Sometimes we just feel like we’re walking through life alone. Our desire is to counter that isolation by modeling the life of Christ and His intimate circle of twelve through our Life Groups. With that in mind, our goal is that no one walks alone and everyone is part of the larger One community. As we journey together in life groups, we will fight for each other’s souls to bring about irresistible life change which we believe happens best in the context of loving, caring relationships, and authentic community.
We seek to provide opportunities of connection and care for you by engaging you with people in similar seasons of life. In your Life Group, you will be able to form intentional relationships with people who are pursuing full devotion as followers of Christ. Our Life Groups meet on campus, in homes, coffee houses, or anywhere else available around the city. They meet at different times during the week and often participate in social activities together. The Group Guides, or facilitators, are charged with mobilizing the group to create emotionally and spiritually safe environments, so that every member has an opportunity to be transparent. Groups generally consist of four to six couples or eight to twelve individuals that meet weekly. In Life Groups, we care for each other, fight for each other, and love each other unconditionally to the best of our ability.
